The seed for the Fire on Main was planted after Jonathan Creasey met up with fellow former Domino's franchisee, Jeff Bajalieh, who opened Slice in Birmingham—a similar concept—in late 2011. "It didn't take long to realize that this was the style of restaurant that I wanted—combining my passion for pizza and great beer," says Creasey.
With ideas from Slice in hand, Creasey sold his last Domino's store in late 2012, and set off for Round Rock, TX looking for a site for his concept. "When I saw the historic buildings, I knew I had found what I was looking for."
